
One-Pot Tomato & Turkey Pasta

What you need

lemon

ricotta cheese

basil

cup penne pasta
cup chicken broth

tomato sauce

tsp crushed red pepper

tsp dried oregano
tsp dried basil

tsp ground black pepper
tsp salt
garlic

ground turkey

yellow onion
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat and sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add in the ground turkey and brown it all over, then add the garlic and spices, mix to combine, and sauté for 3-5 more minutes. Pour in the tomato sauce, broth, & pasta. Stir to combine well & make sure the pasta is fully covered. Add a bit of water to fully cover if needed. Cover the pot and cook on medium low heat for 14-18 minutes, until the pasta is al dente. Stir 2-3 times as it cooks to prevent any sticking.
